Dear Members of the NOFSW community:
We hope this message finds you safe and healthy. The NOFSW Board and Staff continue to carefully monitor and assess the developments and potential impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on the NOFSW Conference scheduled for New Orleans, Louisiana June 16-19, 2020. We have been told by the conference facility that we will receive an update on the status of events scheduled for June and later on April 1st. Until that time we appreciate your patience and we wish to reassure all potential participants that health and safety are our primary priorities and decisions will be made with that in mind as we go forward. We will provide a 100% registration fee refund for cancelations through May 19 to ensure you can register with confidence if you wish to do so at this time We realize many of you are waiting to see what happens in the next few weeks before making any future plan. We are following closely the information and guidance shared by local, state and federal authorities and will keep you apprised of any new developments as they occur. In addition, we are using this time to explore virtual opportunities to provide forensic social work training and we will share more information on that in our next communication.
